Hi Tania, many thanks. We'll be glad to see these cheeky fellas and gals back again, as they get very secretive during nesting times, and don't visit the gardens, so haven't been around for some weeks. Think they'll be back soon again, tho'.

thankyou Beverly, am surprised these birds are not in your area, thought they were basically "everywhere" in wooded type regions. His head tuft looks like that due to him bathing, LOL. they are comical.

Nice shot and nice chatchlight in his eye. We don't have those here in NC, but he is a strikingly handsome bird. Too bad he is having a bad hair day.
