As we got closer to this goose we relised he /She was quite hungery, to the point where it took food from my hand, Ive never seen it down there before.

Thankyou km for looking in, could be that, didn't think of it being a young one, didn't seem to have any fear of us, I was worried it may have being hurt, but I don't think so.

Great shot of that open mouth and tongue. Maybe its a young one that hasn't found a mate. It must not be afraid of people.
