About This Image

Hummingbird, Rufous Female, with her head inside the foxglove flower, front patio. Captured from the open front window. Have been hoping to capture one of the hummers at the foxglove since it bloomed, but they'd fly up and wouldn't seem interested, - but this morning one of them stayed long enough for me to get several shots.

thanks Carol, - not sure where this foxglove came from, as I didn't plant it, wouldn't have chosen that colour. We did have a pink one sometime ago, so maybe it re seeded and this colour showed up : ) I thought it might be a mullein weed before the buds got larger.
