About This Image

We have so many hummingbirds right now that I thought I would try with my limited equipment to see what I could capture.This is taken late in the evening, when they seem to get into a feeding frenzy and they don't realize you are there.A longer lens and a motor drive would have helped also.

Thankyou,Whittler,Mary,Lorraine and Carol.These little ones have been a constant source of amusement of late.This variety is a Rufus or an Allen's according to our books.We have also seen one called a Calliope.
