Great capture! I have yet to see one of the guys in my area either. The brilliant yellow of the flower really shows off the detail.

Thanks Alandra,Don,Mary and Steve for the lovely comments. Steve,It was point,shoot and pray,I have no idea about aperture and shutterspeed but hopefully with the help of all the good people on this site I intend to try to get better.LOL

Brilliant capture Carol! You seem to have got both depth of field and to have stopped the action, so I guess it was a small aperture and a fast shutter speed? Steve

I like how you can see the evening primrose thru the moth's wing.
