thanks Alex D, sometimes one wing seems to be doing different things to the other wing : ) - have captured several with one wing "stopped", but not many with both stopped, so was happy to get this one. - I don't like them being so close to the ground, esp now that the neighbour cat has seen them here.

It takes a pretty fast camera & lens to stop a hummingsbird's wings. I think you have done it. Great photo.
