Hummingbird Bathing May 07

Hello Karen, thanks for the nice comments, - good to see you here. It isn't actually a birdbath, - altho' the small birds do use it for that. It's actually the upper part of a fountain, - but we have it set to low, so that just a "water bubble" comes from the fountain part, so that the little birds can enjoy it, both bathing and drinking. The squirrels stand up beside it and drink from it also.

You did a great job of capturing a close-up of this beautiful little bird. I have never seen that type of birdbath. I am sure these little guys have a hard time finding water that is not too deep, so this type must be perfect for them.
