thankyou Alfresco. They didn't look too friendly, but horsing around is a good description : )

Nice action shot. Maybe they're just horsing around. ;-) Bruce

thanks Carol, glad you like it. In my version, the white horse's "muzzle" looks quite silvery.

I have no idea if they are freinds or not but its a great capture for sure. Carol

thankyou Karen for the nice comments and the feedback. Thought the same, esp the "whites of the eyes" showing in several of the images, - even for the little I know about horses, it didn't seem a friendly sign to me, and as you say, the ears back also. Even the stance they made, and the hoofs raised etc. Today I picked up a "horse magazine" at the local thrift shop :) to try to learn more about horses.

I like how you caught the lips. The ears and the eyes also tell that these two are not buddies. Maybe there was a mare nearby...or they are just grumpy.

thanks again, Janice. Not sure. Initially we thought they were kissing, - but after watching some of the other antics, decided they were biting. I notice on another couple of images, what looks to be bite marks on the necks of some of the horses. I didn't realize they were mean like that towards each other.

Great shot. Are they biting or kissing?
