About This Image

These little weeds grow all over our property and have the prettiest blooms. These bloom are around the size of the tip of your thumb. I have been playing around with levels and after changing everything I ended up with this.

Thanks Alex.. I did a Google image search and the potatoe blossom does look like it but Beverly's thought that it was a Horse Nettle the photos were a match. So for now I'm going with that.

Hi Beverly, Golda, and Carol. Thanks very much for checking out my flower photo and your nice comments. Beverly thank you for naming this little plant for me. I like the blooms but like you said it has little needles on the stems where you can't touch it without gloves.

Looks nice - I like the dark background. Looks like Horse Nettle to me. We used to have a field of it behind our house, but someone built there this spring, so no more Nettle. It was prickly.
