About This Image

Gator in the the tall grass along the shore. I was walking along the water looking for shots and almost tripped over him. Approx 8 feet long, I was about 3-4 feet away and bent down taking this shot. Thankfully he never even flinched.

No this was right here in Louisiana. They are all over the waterways here. I have been stuck in a few traffic jams where extra large ones have decided to sun themselves in the middle of an intersection. We have Gator crossing signs all over!
