About This Image

I'm sure a lot of you remember the children's story "My Cat Likes To Hide In Boxes"? Well, mine really does. This box was actually a suitable size but she'll try to get in ANY box she finds on the floor, whether she'll fit or not! She likes them so much, I converted a banana box into a bed for her, complete with recycled sweatshirt 'mattress' because she also likes to sleep on folded washing!!

finally saw your reply, Helen, several months later : ) Your cat sounds very active for her age, which is great. she must be in good health. Be careful with the plastic bags tho', incase she somehow gets trapped inside one while you are out, believe that can happen.

Hi Alandra, we don't have the heavy brown paper bags here anymore (although I remember them from my childhood 30ish years ago!) but my silly cat likes the plastic ones anyway. And at 9 years old has suddenly developed a fanatical obsession with chasing her tail......go figure! lol

Oh, yes, cats and boxes, the smallest seems to be the most comfortibles of its. And I know a cat, it stings into the box, spit out the small pieces, till there a half whole (like half moon)to lay down the head in. Indeed cats are with a own personality.

checked to see if I'd commented before, and had, but will add this, as forgot to mention earlier that our cats like boxes also, but they love those heavy brown paperbags that groceries are bagged in (if you don't opt for plastic these days). Think they like the rustling sound as they move about on the paper.

what a pretty cat. I like the distinct "M" marking on her head. We had a tabby in England with similar distinct M and we named him Monty.

This is a gem, Hellie. SHow me a cat who doesn't like a box!!! But this was a great choice and a perfect composition. Well done. Vicki

I like the labeling on the box also, "don't drop & keep frozen" and just seen cooking instructions, poor puss, lovely capture of your cat, he's really beautiful, mine love boxes also
