Herons reflect on their reflection. Taken in San Francisco Bay at sunset.

Herons are a good photographic subject, because of their intesting and distictive shape. They also move very slowly and tend to stay put. (This is helpful when taking photos in low light conditions, like sunset. If you move slowly and deliberately they are generally not disturbed by your presence.

Shot at F6.0 1/60th sec ASO 200. Cropped and enhanced in PhotoStudio 5.5. Significant editing done to modify the contrast and tonal quality.
