About This Image

great blue heron resting on one leg, on an old fallen tree. It was partly hidden behind the bushes along the fence, in the shadows. I like the autumn leaves and berries at the side in this image.

Most of the time these birds like hide and rest on one leg, I guess it's nature mysteries... good contrast in the 3 main colors. Ciao

Very pretty Heron capture Alandra. I'm sure his other leg is OK, I have seen them on one leg a bunch of times. I don't know if they tuck one up to keep it warm or what? Anyone know for sure? Don
