thanks Lorraine, yes they are very attractive birds, - think they are starting to get their breeding plumage now. I esp like the dark blue or black "tassel" coming from the top/back part of their heads. They are so clever at manoevering around, despite their huge size.

Beautiful catch Alandra... I really like the view of the Heron's power being shown with it's rear flaps down for maximum lift. Great composition, the rocks and stuff at the bottom gives it depth. Excellent Job!!!
