thanks very much Alex D for those encouraging comments, that's very nice of you. I hope another time, to get all the wings in the frame, but he was too close and there's no time to lose when you want to get the shot as they just take off so fast, - you don't really know "when" they will do it.

glad you like it, Carol, thanks for the nice comments. Am surprised you don't see these herons there, as you have lots of nice ponds etc. You'd think they'd be there also. They are so big, but so graceful. I love them and can't stop looking for them lol
