About This Image

Hawk at liftoff,(as he left the overhead cables out front) captured from open front window. This hawk visits our property each day. He's a real hunter, he even runs along on the ground, going under the shrubs etc, looking for songbirds. Comical to watch him hurrying along, altho of course I don't like to think of him catching the small birds. but guess they all have to eat.

thankyou Anne, - glad you like it. Of course, wish it was a sharper image, but I find hawks quite difficult to capture images of, they move so fast :) Love the intense expression on the hawk's face here, as it takes off.
