About This Image

We were fortunate to drive down to the town of Hatteras, NC latish in the evening. No traffic and the huge fishing boats were snug in their moorings, safe from the looming storm.

Aha! No wondeer you were excited about our coming out this way for the summer, Mary! I was surprised at how many ferries crossed right there. There's also a new attraction - "The graveyard of the Atlantic" shipwreck museum. It was too late to visit it last night, but we hope to do so when we take the ferry to ocracoke1

Memories...went deep sea fishing one year from this harbor. Went out as far as the Gulf Stream. Thanks for sharing these photos Vicki.Very nice.
