I've been trying to get a good shot of the moon ever since I first saw it many years ago.
I used my trusty Pentax ist DS and a Sigma 75-300mm and also a 2x Teleconverter which is supposed to double my 300mm to 600mm it does help but I don't have a spare 600mm lens to check its results.
Even after all this I'm unable to get a full screen shot of the Moon so I had to edit out my biggest shot then place it in my backround which is the trees and house.
The moon was actually in the backround shot but was more like a soccor ball more than a moon, so I cheated the shot.
From what I read it's an impossible shot any way.
I used Photoshop and just cut and paste and blured etc.
It's a rough one but it's the kind of image that I wanted to get with my camera but was not possible.
