About This Image

One of many of my hanging baskets I have grown for display this season, in our public house garden.
We buy the plants in young and grow them on, come June I start to put them together the larger baskets 14" contain up to 15 plants in each.
I use mainly trailing plants as I like the way the different plants grow and cascade together.

Enjoy :)

Many thanks to Alandra, Jas and Mary, for your very kind comments on this image so pleased you all have enjoyed it. Alandra, yes they are Surfina petunias, and how wonderful that you are able to keep yours going all year. Jas, yes you could be right about the dead heading. Mary, the larger flowers are Surfinas and the dainty trailing flowers are Lobelia 'String of Pearls' varietie.

Beautiful hanging basket Chris. I like the way you arranged it with the larger flowers at the base and the smaller dainty flowers trailing down. Very nice work.

This is a lovely shot of one of your beautiful hanging baskets, Chriss! The colours really compliment each other well and the blooms look in perfect condition. :) Is that something to do with the dead heading? :) he.he.

lovely colourful hanging basket, Chriss, - it looks as if it's thriving. Are those the surfina petunias? (think that's one of the names of that type) -- we have some bright red ones that overwintered in a terracotta wall planter that remains in place year round, and it's blooming profusely again this summer.
