I grew up in high elevations. But NEVER this high! The mountain tops in Colorado are 3000 feet below this. For those not acclimatized, altitude sickness would, indeed, be a problem here.

Yes, it really is beautiful.Acclimatization to the rarified air is the only problem here. Breathlessness on slight exertion or even giddiness can occur.
