About This Image

Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae)
This fritillary emerged in my house on a rainy day. I took the flower from my garden and taped it to another tripod and shot this at 0.8 sec and f/13 using the back door window for the natural background. No, I do not usually pose my butterfly photos!Photo taken in Orange Co., NC on November 05, 2002.
