here the male Heron is delivering the gift of the branch he just found, to his mate. That tumble of sticks etc where she stands, is the start of the nest they are building : )

captured at quite a distance with telephoto lens, at the area where they are nesting, high up on a cliff near our home, there are approx 400 of these herons nesting there.
