About This Image

This is a flower which originally grew in Waterford Eire.

It seems that for generations my granny had them in her yard! They seemed to survive all circumstances and weather with admirable independence!

My parents and myself took some over the Irish Channel. Luckily, their persistence to survive travelled with them!

To tell you the truth Alandra, I have no idea what sort of lily it is! But I will be looking up the gardening books now!

what a beautiful flower! interesting to hear the story behind it, also. Is it an Arum lily?
