thankyou, Mary in Kent : ) This one reminds me of Easter also, the finch looks like an Easter Chick. I took all these from inside the house, sitting behind the open window. - am using a telephoto lens which enables me to get the close shots.

How do you get so close and clear Alandra! This is just stunning. The colours are beautiful. A work of art that could be used for batches of Easter cards!

many thanks Janice, Carol and Talsi, - also liked the coincidence of the way the background matches the finch colouring : ) Just by luck. It's a forsythia bush, but no flowers as it was cut back, so only yellow tinged leaves.
