About This Image

I like the contrast of the snow against the dark woods. This is one of many sets of deer tracks I saw in the new snow, after or last storm.

I like the contrasts in this one a lot. I grew up in snow country, but haven't lived in it for many years. This reminds me of my early days.

With the shadows and the tracks opposing each other there's quite a lot of 'movement' in the photo. It's quite a simple composition but it's very clever.
