About This Image
These are fireworks from Natchitoches, Louisiana celebrating the independance of the United States from England. I wonder where the tradition came from of shooting fireworks, which make noises like guns and use gun powder to celebrate the independance of a country that was fought for with the use of guns. I am sure that tradition must have come from China since that is where rockets originated.
