Guest - Jan 22, 2006 07:32 AM EDT Thanks for the comment Alandra,I'm glad you enjoyed it.Yes, it is a Beech tree,it doesn't seem to be a fast growing tree and so far I haven't seen any beech nuts on it. Maybe the squirrels get to them before I see them
Guest - Jan 21, 2006 06:39 PM EDT first time I saw this one, really like it. Is that a copper beech tree with those leaves still clinging on? Planted one of those at a house at Abbotsford many years ago, for the reason that the coppery coloured leaves remain most of the winter. would like to go back and see how much the tree's grown since.
