Flamingo Dance

Hi Jas. We have several photo 'purists' in TLF. They're great people, but I have a bad habit of getting carried away at times, so I'm trying to tone it down a bit. I don't take offense as I appreciate the input, but I still do it for my own work and in a digital scrapping group when I have time to get there. I love textures, and the fluffed up feathers of these flamingoes were such a great affect against the single head that it felt right for this one! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Vicki

A wonderful creation Vicki! The colours are gorgeous and the feathers remind me of the feathered fans that dancers would use in musicals. :) I like the framing too. I notice in your comments, underneath, that you are trying to be less creative in your framing. Is there a particular reason for this? :)

Thank you, Beverly. I'm really trying to be less creative in my framing in here, but this one brought the 'other' Vicki out again! In the whole image, the flamingo head is in the same position. I copied and pasted his head then altered the edge of the whole image to give it a more whimsical appearance! Vicki
