Thank you Alandra for your kind words,we are under the English queens wing so to speak, for how long I'm not sure there are talks on becoming a republic and we have land claims still to be sorted from some earlier settlers.

another great fireworks shot! I was wondering what the "occasion" was, Vince. I was reminded re Guy Fawkes night in England, on CNN this evening, but didn't realize you celebrate that in NZ! We don't celebrate it in Canada, - well, some people might do so privately, I dont really know, - but it's not a regular event.
