About This Image

The above image is of a Cheiranthus cheiri 'Fire King'
(Wallflower).
Moderatley fast-growing, lanced-shaped leaves are mid-to-deep green; heads of 4-petalled flowers are carried in spring.
Some gardening book tell us that they are grown as biennials, flowering one season, other say some do go on longer and become perennials.
I have had these growing in the garden some four years now.

Enjoy :)

Bright and beautiful!!! Imagine the purple buds turning into yellow, orange and almost red flowers. So very beautiful! I loved it.
