About This Image

Next to the faux store window is this 'doorway'. I worked with filters a bit on the edges to draw more attention to the artwork in the middle - though the 'brickwork' is also part of the painting.

Thank you Steve and May. I'll take a look Steve - I rather like them too. While Jeanne and I were exploring in town the men were checking out the Peace River for canoe availability and campgrounds, May. I appreciate the feedback as I've heard about the fossils. We were told to stay away on Saturday when the area is packed with boaters and fossil hunters! Vicki

Vicki - next time you're in Arcadia, get to the Peace River. Stop and take a sieve w/you. Pull up some sand (unless you're in a parking lot w/crushed coral) and look for fossils. In the crushed coral you can find them, too. It's a remarkable place for fossils. Take a paddle from one of the liveries, lunch (easy paddle in the winter), and come back w/a sack of fossils...shark teeth, worm casings, mastodon, horse, armadillo teeth, pick a fossil! It's yours.

I love these eye-deceiving images. Please take a look at one of mine called "Mural" and let me know what you think!
