About This Image

these Australian Blue Fan Flowers (Scaevola saligna) are in a hanging basket on our patio, - have been enjoying them for several years now, they bloom right thru October here in the most southwestern part of British Columbia.

On the trailing stems of this plant, are single "fan" flowers, as seen in the other photo in my gallery.

thanks for all the comments, missed these comments before -- Tam, Helen, Pam, Gary, Shreekant, Dud, Alex. I think this was the first "good" shot I got with the new camera, a year ago.

This is a lovely flower. The succulent stems and the petals make it look like a lotus.

I use these in my windod boxes each year. They get the morning sun. They reach my sidewalk by the fall and are beautiful, never out of bloom.
