A bench waiting for a person to come along and enjoy. Perhaps another day.

A.Lovely - Jun 21, 2009 12:48 PM EDT Hi there Alfresco. Thank you for stopping by to view this photograph
and leaving such a nice comment.
Alfresco - Jun 21, 2009 12:18 PM EDT I've run across and admired this photo several times, but never commented on it. Everything about it is in harmony to express the peaceful, quiet mood. The vertical format and the fog accentuate the depth, and the subtle color of the pine tree adds just enough warmth to dispel any winter bleakness that might be felt in a fully monochromatic rendition. Very nice, a real eye-catcher.
Pinetree3 - Jun 21, 2009 06:07 AM EDT I really like the mood of this photo.
A.Lovely - Aug 31, 2008 01:28 PM EDT Thank you James for your stopping by to view and leaving a comment.
Yes, it was a quiet day. The temperatures were warm for a winter's day, but not good traveling. There were no people in the park
that day. I found it quite nice and almost private as I drove and
stopped to get a capture.
jamesjcaine - Aug 17, 2008 06:16 PM EDT love this shot, there is a quietness to it, love the mist that surround the trees in the background
A.Lovely - Apr 14, 2008 10:20 AM EDT Hi there Anne and Talsi Thank you both for viewing and commenting
on this photograph. You both are such good photographers that I feel
privilaged to have your thoughts on my photos.
talsi - Apr 14, 2008 07:51 AM EDT Missed this one before - very nice moody image.
anne - Apr 12, 2008 05:58 PM EDT A lovely morning in the park. I do not find it lonely but filled with the beautiful morning mist!! One can hear the unseen and revel in the beauty. Lovely picture. (g)
A.Lovely - Apr 03, 2008 10:39 AM EDT Hi Alandra. Thank you for viewing my photograph and making a comment.
It is much appreciated.
alandrapal - Apr 02, 2008 03:16 AM EDT Hi Anne, have just found this very appealing photo, and am echoing all the other comments about it. It's very thought provoking and "moody". I love it, and certainly would have it on my wall.
A.Lovely - Mar 30, 2008 07:58 PM EDT Thank you Karen for making such nice comments on my photograph. This
is one of the parks in my small city. The fog that day was very thick
and I thought of those empty benches under the trees. How many people
must have sat there and what thoughts or words that might have been
spoken. A bench I think is made for two people, otherwise they would
have put out chairs. (smiling)
Karen Moen - Mar 30, 2008 06:03 PM EDT Beautiful composition. I like the layers as the trees become more and more obstructed by the fog. Nice that someone planned such a nice place for contemplating nature.
A.Lovely - Feb 27, 2008 11:12 AM EDT Larry, you have such nice words for my photograph. I want to thank you
as I really am learning how to make a story with my photos.
Larry - Feb 26, 2008 09:46 PM EDT I would say you have an eye for photography if this caught your attention as an opportunity for a great shot...like other comments have indicated, it stir's your emotions..If I had taking that shot I would have had an enlargement made and it would be hanging on the wall...

marysham - Feb 24, 2008 11:01 PM EDT The empty bench makes me think of loneliness. Along with the mist and touch of color in the leaves gives the scene a touch of mystery. Well done Ann.
