This elephant paraded down the street at the Audubon Park Zoo. We did not expect to see it because it was far from the elephant exhibiy. The Audubon Park Zoo in New Orleans was at one time a terrible zoo but it has changed a lot since the days when I was a boy and I am glad to state that the changes are for the better. The animals have more room and the exhibits look more life like.
