This is terrific, Marsha. I agree with Steve - the distorted reflection just adds to the overall effect as does the gorgeous breeding plumage. Vicki

gorgeous image, Marsha! And Steve's comment about the reflected image looking like wax is just great. I'd love to see one of these white egrets. Someone was telling me the Great Blue herons have a white phase, but have never seen a white GB heron in this area. sorry am so behind with my comments, am glad I saw this one :)

Beautiful, Marsha. I love the gently distorted reflection in the water - it looks as if it's an egret made of wax that's melted a bit.
