About This Image

One crisp morning in winter I gathered camera bag and a warm jacket and set out walking up a Pa(early settlers village)with-in 15 mins I arrived at the top of this look-out and enjoyed the fresh air and sounds of birds around me,capturing shot after shot of part of the East coast of New Zealand.

I believe I will just walk along this murmuring stream, taking time to talk to the trees as I follow the twisting stream to the welcoming farm house. I have a feeling the coffee pot is ready for returning dreamers. A wonderful, lovely picture.

yes, it's a lovely scene. would love to visit NZ. we very nearly moved there, my parents and siblings, many years ago, Dad was to transfer-he was in the RN. But the Korean war happened, and all transfers were stopped, so that was the end of that. Came to BC Canada instead, where Dad had been stationed during WW2 for awhile.
