Excellent shot, fella. I suspect that grey light might have helped to tone down the contrast which might actually have done you a favour! The colour of the beak is wonderfully caught.

great shot, Fella. Have noticed the same thing with the dull skies lately. Your eagles look a lot cleaner than ours, lol, yours must be bathing/hunting in the ocean, whereas ours are hunting in the muddy fields, altho the ocean is nearby also.
