About This Image

This is a photo of my handsome husband Michael. I actually set this photo up while he was talking to someone, then called out to him and snapped the shot. Pity about the person in the background.

Hi Lulu I am using Photo Shop Elements 3. I have had it for 2 weeks and having fun. I took photos of a friends wedding and put my favourite ones into a slide show with background music. She should have it today. Hopefully she likes it. Ill bring my laptop when we come over next and can both play and get hints from each other. Im sure you will be doing all the teaching though, I am still strugling with the new prgram but it is FUN

Hi Tania. You must have read my mind as I have been working with cloning on the background. I just haven't come up with anything that I am really pleased with yet. I'm glad you have you have been experimenting with B&W and adding colour. I would like to see some of the photos you have been working on. What photo program do you use? I can see what we are going to be spending all our time doing when you come through next time :-)

Hi Lulu this is a great shot of Michael. if you don't like the person in the background why not clone the red seat he is sitting on to full the entire photo. As usual you have enspired me to try more with my computer program. I changed my wind surfer photo to him and the board colour and the ocean and sky B&W It looks good BUT now I cant remember how I did it lol will continue trying Thanks for the inspriation. They do say coping is the sincerest kind of flattery. Keep up the great work

Hi Alandra and thanks again for your comment. The only trouble with putting photo of me on here is that I wouldn't have taken it. However, my sister Shirree (Meridianz) took some at mine and Michaels wedding and there are a few that she is rather proud of. I'll let you know when I appear in her gallery. As far as age is concerned, I have a couple of years to catch up to Michael. Still, I don't mind getting older, it makes me feel more mature :-)

am happy you did send in some of your family, Lulu. Didn't enter my mind re the "tie" either. We're very "laid back" out here on the westcoast, very casual. Next I hope to see some of "you". Guess I should send in one of "me" too. (don't want the LF to suddenly fail tho', lol) - at this age a person never knows : ) when I see all these great looking young people, wish I could lose 20 years someplace : ) -- but as the Dr said once, "its better than the alternative" (getting old, he meant). so guess that's right. Nothing we can do about it, just make the best of it, right, and the main thing is to "keep smiling" and be happy.

Thanks Mel and Alandra for your comments. Yes Mel, this was taken at Marie and Jonny's wedding. I never mentioned that as some people may think it was strange that he was at a wedding and not wearing a tie. Alandra, I'm so glad that Michael took your eye off the person sitting in the background. I put this on for you as I thought you might be curious to see some of my family for a change.
