group of mallard hens and drakes & their reflections, resting in a safe haven. They had just caught sight of me here, and one had already paddled away (see the ripples at one side)

thankyou very much, Carol, Vicki & Alex, glad you enjoyed it. I've been having a hard time "catching" the ducks lately, so was quite happy to see this little flock sitting there so quietly yesterday

thanks Don, it was a cute sight. I got several shots, some with the ducks all in the "same pose", but have to figure out how to straighten it without losing too much of image.
