About This Image

The Dragons Blood (or Negril Ginger) from Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The mountainsides are covered with these, giving them a red tint. Scanned from film and processed in CS3 using the Orton technique. Canon A-1,70-210/4 @210. This is part of my Orton portfolio.

Thanks for the comments Jas, yes I agree the soft looks works good here. I like it much better than the original.

Lovely close-up of the Dragon's Blood bloom. I like the soft, subtle colouring. It looks a little like a bromeliad. :)
