Guest - Dec 06, 2006 10:17 AM EDT Excellent shot.
Guest - Dec 05, 2006 09:50 PM EDT Superb shot. Really love these woodpecker shots. Is this a homemade suet?
Guest - Dec 05, 2006 06:10 PM EDT Nice shot. Haven't seen our woodpecker lately either, but a flicker is stopping by to use the suet feeders. Unfortunately the starlings are hogging the suet cakes too, so we are replenishing our suet cakes approx each week.
Guest - Dec 05, 2006 05:52 PM EDT Thanks for the comments Lorraine and Don,I'm glad you enjoyed it.This guy doesn't stop by very often so I change the suet block about once a month.I haven't seen any other woodpeckers around here.
Guest - Dec 05, 2006 03:14 PM EDT Nice Downy shot Alex, looks like a freshly reloaded suet feeder. They love them don't they. I finally caught a red bellied woodpecker near mine, but didn't get a very good shot. Do you have those there too? Talk to you later, Don
Guest - Dec 05, 2006 02:47 PM EDT lovely shot, I love the way you have bird feeders over there, not something you see here, in the winter when its freezing the birds need something extra, I have a feeder but its not good in wet weather. great shot.
