About This Image

I took this photo from the stands at Pomona. It is amazing what these top fueler cars are capable of and what you do not see with the naked eye during the NHRA event. Look at the body/frame flexing and the tires distorted... wow. It was hard to keep up with the cars as they went by at 300 mph.

I know what you mean Alan. I have a theory.. It is like you have to snap 1000+ photos to get that one remarkable photo that makes you do a double take. I am sure you will have some that pop out at you, like that one you did of the gray Ford called Racing Action.

Hi John, Great shot freezing the action.. This is one thing out of many that I really enjoy about photography, I can't wait to get home and check out my photos.
