About This Image

The village of Denham is not far from London, although it's a timeless place that feels miles away from any part of modern life, especially a major city. This was taken early on a perfect June morning of bright summer sunshine.

Hi Mike, and thanks for your interesting comment. It's starting to feel a bit spooky - first I discover you live in Middlesbrough which I know well since my mum was born there, and now I find that you were born a couple of miles from where I now live!! Very X-files!

Lovely church steve just looked up its history and it been around a bit... i was born in hillingdon many many years ago and my dad was basrd at uxbridge which is only 2 miles from here .... i like the lights shining on the church wall nice shot
