Thank you for all your nice comments Tania. Yes, this Hibiscus looks a little different from the 'regular' flowers; it was quite high up, which enabled me to get the angle.

Jas I had no idea this was a hibiscus. I took a photo of one of these in Rarotonga a couple of years back and wondered what kind of flower it is. Love the angle you have taken the photo from and the framing

Beautiful flower and image Jas, It comes under the variety called 'Chinese Lantern' Hibiscus. I do hope you don't mind me pointing this out to you. Chriss:)
