This sure brings back the memories, Alex. In the late 60's I lived on the corner of Pine and Powell. My roommate Carol and I were fortunate to get the corner apartment on the 2nd floor. After Christmas, your photo was reminiscent of how we got rid of our tree - by making sure no one was below and sending it out the window! Those were the days!

am not sure what Defensestration means, will have to look it up : ) The bright green of the sofa really shows up against the building exterior - I thought someone was tossing it out the window initially : )
