About This Image

This rose is past being perfect, in the literal sense of the word. As it was coming to the end of its life, I thought it held a particular beauty all of its own; the colour and sheen on the petals, I thought were quite eye catching and the way the rose was beginning to fall away from the centre of the bloom just caught my attention.

I always say: "You can find beauty in everything, you just have to look properly".

I hope you can see the beauty held within this decaying bloom.

Beautiful capture Jas. One can see how the Rose is put together by Nature. Our Roses are just starting to burst into Leaf Buds, for the coming season. Can't wait. Thankyou Jas, for the image.

Hi Jas, I agree with you in that there is beauty in everything and I think there are alot that don't look hard enough. I think this image is just as beautiful as when it was in full bloom. Thank you for sharing an extra-ordinary image, yet still perfect :)
