About This Image

I was on a trip from Prince George to Whitehorse (via Alaska Highway). Then we pinned down past Jade City and Meziatin Junction where we came across this awesome pick-nick site.

It was the Summer before I entered University.

Actually back in 1996 we did have a picnic there...I remember the "pumperknicke" bread and mayo with sliced meat...makes me hungry for Northern BC.

Hi Karen...I love your Vancouver pic....what were you flying in? My very first camera was an Olympus AE1 I think...It was my week of university and there was a concert (backyard barbecue by name) and I got a little too tipsy and left my first camera there. The worst part is that it had me partying with the band at the time (the band was 5440...so if you see any pictures of a shaggy looking treeplanter type with 5440 (the band) could you let me know? Yes, I do love scenery...more photogenic than most people...I love my dog's images too...he is a real poser for the camere.

Beautiful landscape image. Looks like the perfect place in which to enjoy a picnic. I am an Olympus fan (35mm).
