I don't know if it was lived in before the storms of 2005 or not. They keep their properties very tidy.

Great photo Tania. Was this someones home, or was it used for another purpose. I see new palm trees and the grounds tidy, so it is loved.

There's beauty to be found in almost everything, even after such devastation. Would love to see an abstract of one of those windows.

I can not physically help build houses for people in these areas but I always donate what I can (usually new items) I feel for everyone devestated in the every increasing devestation left behind after each event. photos such as this remind me how lucky I am and to share what I have. I hope you have a Merry Xmas and a Safe and Happy New Year

Yes, it still holds beauty even though derelect. It is the same in the Maldives where there was also much devastation.

Lorraine the Island is only 32km around but you could explore and find new things every day. It is a wonderful place
