About This Image

This began life as a lonely dandelion flower. I was confined to the house today, due to rain, and wanted to create something different with PSP. This is the result. I used several processes, including polarization, to digitally enhance the dandelion flower.

Thanks for viewing. :)

Thanks for all the neat comments on this image! I wasn't sure what kind of feedback I'd get and am pleasantly surprised and encouraged, so thank you all for that and for taking the time to look.! Brian - thanks for the encouraging comments. :) Chriss - keep that left hand working! :) Golda - what a great idea...thanks for that. :) Alandra - I use a mix of PSP and Photoshop; there are elements on both, which I find confusing, so I pick out the best bits from both. :)

love the colour contrasts, Jas. Well done. Amazing what can be done with a lowly dandelion flower. It's so much fun, isn't it, - and do you notice how the time speeds by while you're working at these? For some reason I thought you used Photoshop? - but maybe you use both. Which do you prefer? In my case, I started with Paint Shop Pro and never got used to Photoshop and have never taken time out to get to know it more.
