About This Image

daffodils, or narcissus, a bit different to the usual type, with raindrops. Captured from the open front window, with telephoto lens and 1.4X teleconverter. I like the dark coloured centers of this variety.

thanks again, Lorraine, I agree these are really nice to have mixed in with the regular type daffs. Such a touch of brightness

I also have just the one plant of these, the ones around it are just yellow and I always get a couple of stems this colour within the same group, they are very, lovely great shot.

yes, I agree Steve, was reading up on them online last night, hoping to find one exactly like this, and all the daffs are narcissus really. I used to call this type "jonquils", but last night realized it's not, altho the trumpet is more the size of some jonquil trumpets. And the jonquils have a wonderful scent, but think these don't.

I think I'd call this flower a narcissus rather than a daffodil, but whatever it's called it's very pretty, and you've captured it perfectly.
